The Educational Solutions Team in CCS has just completed the implementation of a project for the Saudi Customs Authority. The project involved delivery of an integrated solution for automating the main business processes at the Customs Training Institute in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The delivered solution comprised (3) components: our e-Learning system "ADVANTAGE", our Training Management system, and Kofax Document Archiving system. The scope of the project involved customization and systems integration services as well as training Key Staff at the Customs Training Institute. The solution is in the final setup stage and is expected to Go-Live in the beginning of May 2010. |

JORDAN Web Awards Competition aims to recognize excellence in web design and development skills. It is also to promote the innovative spirit of web designers to meet professional and international standards, to promote intellectual and production opportunities, as well as to develop an interactive proactive and reactive community that aims at providing recognition to this e\sector in the most superlative way. Furthermore, JORDAN Web Awards is an encouragement work for all sectors to showcase their websites and be more involved in the IT.

Public Security Directorate PSD Trade-In Project for the Command and Control Information System (CCIS) & Automatic Border Control System (ABCS)

CCS is now in the process of implementing a Turnkey Solution for the Public Security Directorate (PSD). This Trade-In Project aims to setup the PSD infrastructure with the latest hardware technology, high manageability and 24/7 access to critical information.
CCS Trade-In Turnkey Solution provides Hardware from HP for all PSD sites based on the latest technology and high availability Itanium Servers. The solution involves upgrading the legacy Database system from 9i to 10g, upgrading the legacy Application from 6i to 10g Application Server (Web Enabled), rebuilding the PSD infrastructure by adding the Regions features, which converts the system from semi-distributed to fully distributed system. This feature is controlled by CCS Customized Oracle Replication which can be set on business level, column level (Minimized Network Concept). The replication solution replicates data bi-directional between the Main Site (RAC Site) and eleven Distributed Border Control Databases and six distributed Regions databases. |

PSD Automatation Fees Collection System for Residency & Borders Department

In continuation of the long historical relationship between Jordan's Public Security Directorate (PSD) and CCS and after our success in the implementation of complete Command and Control Systems (CCIS & ABCS) for PSD, CCS have won the tender for designing and implementing an Automated System for Fees Collection and over-stay fines, for PSD. The system will be implemented in the Residency and Border Department and its related branches such as border points and the Foreigners/Follow-up departments in the different police directorates.
The new system will work under the same environment as applied in the Command and Control project which uses the tools and techniques of the existing database infrastructure of ORACLE 10g. Furthermore, the system will make use of Replication features between the main site and its related borders/regional sites. The new system will cover the complete process of fees collection in the residency department as well as allowing the system to be E-Government enabled for public us |

Jordan Valley Authority has Awarded CCS the "Water management information system" Project Implementation.

After CCS's successful implementation for the WMIS in 1998, CCS signed with JVA to implement the upgrade of their "WMIS",'CCS' project manager and consultants held an intensive technical discussion to demonstrate to JVA's project manager, operational and system analysts the approach and methodology that will be used through the implementation phases.
With the technical discussions coming to the end, both parties agreed on their responsibilities to successfully achieve the deliverables of this project of which purpose is to upgrade their water management information system (WMIS) to a web based solution to include the provision of information for different stakeholders to improve water management, operation and maintenance leading to a state of art solution for all tasks concerning water management through a fully integrated system for all tasks related to water management. |

After the award signing with JU, CCS team members responsible for carrying out the archiving project held successive meetings with JU library members and Information technology members to prepare for the project initiation at JU library premises.
The software solution that CCS is to implement for project is "Kofax"; the powerful information capture solution focused in information Management. CCS will be cooperatively working with "JU" to successfully store and archive all the historical and Intellectual information for the coming generations.

Amman Stock Exchange Project

CCS has recently successfully completed the implementation of a major project in Amman Stock Exchange. The objective of the project was to set up a complete infrastructure for their new Trading System in the main site. An additional requirement was to set up a Hot Disaster Recovery site and a Cold Disaster Recovery Site with high availability, high manageability and 24x7 access to critical information features being of the utmost importance.
CCS supplied and implemented the required solution based on HP’s latest line of enterprise products including: servers, SAN storage utilizing HP’s unique virtualization technology, enterprise backup devices and their associated software as well as clustering and replication solutions. CCS also implemented enterprise-grade security and LAN environments from Fortinet and Extreme Networks, respectively.
