DUBAI MUNICIPALITY

.NET, XML and Oracle Parking Fines System Issuing Parking Fines and following such violations is a major income source for any Town council or Administration - in Dubai, this critical activity is worth many tens of millions of dollars annually, and so a "systems
critical" approach was needed when developing such software and integrating such systems. In a newly confirmed award, CCS has been entrusted to build a complete automated system for the Municipality of Dubai, using a mixture of platforms (.NET, Oracle Java, XML) to create a leading-edge technology solution for issuing Parking Fines and administrating Parking Fine related activities in the Emirate of Dubai. Given the amount of potential revenue involved for Dubai Municipality, and the ability of the Municipality to save
many millions of dollars through greater efficiency, CCS is very pleased to be developing software and to be entrusted in order to meet the rigorous deadlines of this project.

Hand-held devices will be issued to all Dubai Municipality Parking Inspectors; these state of the art machines are supplied by Schweers of Germany, allowing the printing of bills as well as complex retrieval of data, anywhere, by authorised Dubai Municipality staff. The Hand-held devices connect online to the CCS system, allowing Inspectors to enter data
and notes, and allowing detailed and up-to-the minute reporting, based on the Dubai Municipality database, on any vehicle.

A key reason why CCS was selected for this task from a variety of local and international bidders was the sophisticated nature of the integration needed by Dubai Municipality between different technologies and middle-ware, and matching this to the needs of a complex network and wireless network environment.

The European Gaza Hospital is situated in the southern Gaza Governorate of Khanyounis. EGH is considered one of the biggest investments in the area. With total cost around $60 Million. The Hospital was conceived by UNRWA and funded by The EC to be a center of excellence providing much needed secondary plus care services to Southern Area. The IMT, International Management Team, took the responsibility to commission the Hospital.

On the first of sep. 1982 we started with 110 beds and at the time being we have 342 beds serving our patients.
IT provides most of required medical services for all types of patients (Inpatient, outpatient and Emergency)
General Internal Medicine, Digestion System & Liver Diseases , Brain & Nerve Diseases, Heart & Blood Vessels Diseases, Blood & Cancer
Diseases, Rheumatism & Joints Diseases.

Now the hospital is being extended to 450 beds.
