Example: How eSIS help ON-LINE services can help: Registration

eSIS enables students and registration officers to pass wearisome and time consuming registration procedures, accurately and securely, in only a few steps.

The system offers time-, effort- and money-saving registration steps via internet, and being multi-lingual, interactive and easy to use, the system guides the student through registration easily through the web pages. It avoids wasted student efforts in moving from one office to another in different departments, trying to finish routine approvals for registration. Besides, registering and using the embedded eSIS features introduces students painlessly to the fast growing IT, adding further to the outgrowth of students' skills during their study period .

Educational institutions no longer spend as much time and money on preparing registration sites and printing forms after adopting and using eSIS. Registration officers no longer need to waste time on routine procedures of registration, and can better use that time to implement new plans and to contributing to the development of their institution.

eSIS online services

eSIS online services can be accessed and dealt with via any internet browser. Using a number of web pages, students can perform a wide range of tasks (through "self-service") in the registration procedure and use the system to make general or specific inquiries. Educators can put general announcements for all students, or for specific students, for students starting an online service. These announcements appear automatically.

Student have three methods for online registration:

Selecting courses directly from the semester academic study plan.

Choosing the preferred courses from the section's general outline that covers the whole study period and guides students for the coming semester.
Entering the names of courses, directly by the students who predetermined their coming semester's courses. This delivers a fast process.

Any courses that students choose in the first and second registration methods are automatically listed in a "wish list" (courses cart) which the student can drop from or add, before confirming their registration.

eSIS online services also include a vast variety of options enabling students to adjust, withdraw or add courses. They can register on waiting lists for over-subscribed courses. Finally, students can always check their academic results and change their passwords.
